24th November RAW Results

On last night's RAW, the team of Beth Phoenix, Katie Lea and Jillian Hall took on Mickie James, Candice Michelle and a stunning Melina who was making her long-awaited return to the ring.

The match began with Candice and Jillian locking up, with Candice applying an arm wrench to Jillian that she eventually escaped and turned into a pin attempt. Candice was able to bridge her way out, hit Jillian with a drop kick, and then attempted a pin of her own.

Candice then found herself flung into the corner and after some interference from Beth, Jillian was able to grab Candice and take her down by her hair. Jillian then charged Candice into her home corner which allowed her to go to work on her, as well as gave Beth and Katie the chance to get in some cheap shots of their own. Jillian then hit a handspring elbow on Candice and tagged in Beth.

Beth hit Candice with a elbow to her upper body and then picked her up for a double backbreaker into a submission.

Candice eventually broke out of the hold, but Beth continued to dominate until Candice was able to kick Beth back into her corner which allowed her to tag in Katie but also gave Candice the chance to tag in Melina.

Melina ran across the ring tripping up Katie as she went, before knocking Katie and Beth to the mat. She then hit Katie with a series of big punches and went for a very impressive flip into a roll-up pin, clearly demonstrating she's been practising some new moves during her absence. She broke up the pin to throw an interfering Jillian back to the outside and hit Beth with a jawbreaker. This allowed Mickie to climb to the top rope and knock Beth down with a flying crossbody which gave Melina the chance to execute her inverted split-leg drop bulldog for the pin and the win. All in all a very impressive comeback for Melina.
