Trish Stratus has implants removed

According to many of the wrestling news sites, the latest issue of the UK Power Slam magazine carries an article announcing that Trish Stratus has recently had her breast implants removed. Obviously I was naive, or just didn't stop to think about it but it never really crossed my mind that Trish might have implants and judging by the reaction of other fans out there it's taken them a bit by surprise as well.

In itself it's not particularly surprising that a woman involved in professional wrestling has felt the need to get breast implants, as a confidence booster, a crowd-pleaser, or for some other reason. But seeing as so much of what Trish had achieved in the WWE was off the back of sheer determination and bloody-mindedness it's still come as a bit of a surprise that she felt the need to get them in the first place. Whether the WWE would have given her a shot without them is a moot point. I suppose now all that waits to be seen are the latest photos of her which will pretty conclusively prove either way whether this is yet another wrestling rumour or the reality.
